Nicholas T. Serafy, Jr. is President and CEO of Proficiency Testing Service and Managing Partner of Serafy Laboratories. The companies specialize in providing quality management testing programs used by medical laboratories and healthcare organizations to assess, monitor and improve the accuracy and reliability of their diagnostic test results.
Mr. Serafy was former Chairman of the Texas Economic Development Corporation (TexasOne). He also serves on the Board of Directors of International Bank of Commerce-Brownsville and is a member of the Governor’s Business Council.
Mr. Serafy received his BA in microbiology chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin in 1978.
